Becoming a
"Friend of the Waikiki Aquarium" (FOWA) creates opportunities
for ocean enthusiasts of all ages to participate in Aquarium sponsored
activities. FOWA currently has over 3000 members who enjoy numerous
benefits:
- Free admission to the Aquarium
- Complimentary audio wands during your visit
- Discounts in the Natural Selection Shop
- Discounts on educational opportunities
- Free or discounted admission to special events
- Free or discounted admission to over 115 aquariums and zoos throughout the country.
Our members
enjoy reading Kilo i'a, our quarterly newsletter, and
salt water aquarium enthusiasts are able to pick up free filtered salt
water. Ke Kani O Ke Kai Summer Concerts featuring local, Hawaiian
entertainers have proven to be popular among FOWA members. Members
receive advance notice of special events and tickets are available at a
discount.
Members are
also able to rent the Aquarium for an evening event or party. Call our

more information. (M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm HST, GMT -10:00)
Membership
levels:
- $30 Senior (single member over 65 years old)
- $40 Individual (single member)
- $60 Family (Two adults and their children under 18
years old)
- $60 Grandparents (Two adults and their grandchildren
under 18 years old; maximum 6 grandchildren)
- $85 Family Plus (Two adults and their children under
18 years old plus FREE admission for two guests per visit)
- $25 Member may add another member of household not
covered by their membership (nanny/babysitter/parent/son or daughter
over 17 years old)
Due to the
change in admission fees, Senior and Individual members will be charged
an admission fee for children ages 5+.
