The Aquarium aims to "help people of all ages understand, love, care for and work to protect the life of the ocean through a commitment to excellence in educational and entertaining experiences, research and conservation." Many wonderful people help to make this mission a reality. These special people, diverse in age, background and experience, are eager to learn more about Hawaii's marine environment and how they can preserve and protect it.

If you are interested, please fill out the volunteer application form.  Call the Volunteer Coordinator at 440-9020 to discuss volunteer options before completing the form.  Unless scheduled for the next scheduled training session, we will keep completed applications on file for no more than 4 months. 

The Assumption of Risk and Release form and the Criminal Background Check form are also required when volunteering.
