The Aquarium aims to "help people of
all ages understand, love, care for and work to protect the life
of the ocean
through a commitment to excellence in educational and entertaining experiences,
research and conservation." Many wonderful people help to make this
mission a reality. These special people, diverse in age, background and
experience, are eager to learn more about Hawaii's marine environment and
how they can preserve and protect it.

Special Note:
If you are interested, please fill out the volunteer application
form.
Call the Volunteer Coordinator at 440-9020 to discuss volunteer options before completing the
form.
Unless scheduled for the next scheduled training session, we will keep completed applications on file for
no more than 4 months.
The Assumption of Risk and Release form and the Criminal Background Check form are also required when volunteering.

Volunteering regularly at the Aquarium brings many rewards:
